Paranjyothi Foundation:
Empowering Government Schools in Rural Karnataka
Enriching Minds, Building Futures
Our Vision
“To provide a conducive environment where children can achieve success to their fullest potential and education be made liberal in the true sense. This can eventually foster a positive change in the community we live in.”
The Landscape of Government Schools in Rural Karnataka
Approximately 70% of the population depend on the schools run or aided by the Government. But the number of children studying in government schools is on the decline.
The challenges faced by many government schools, include understaffing, inadequate classrooms, infrastructure in disrepair, and a lack of essential facilities. This often translates to limited opportunities in learning, extracurricular activities, sports programs, and access to resources like libraries, labs, and computer centers.
Building a Better Tomorrow with Paranjyothi Foundation
We are striving to transform education in rural Karnataka. This means creating a supportive environment where students can excel. A holistic approach that prioritizes academics alongside extracurricular activities and sports. To achieve this, we actively involve parents in their child’s education and foster partnerships with the local community. By working together, these schools can be empowered to reach their full potential.
Making a Positive Impact
Education is the cornerstone of a thriving community. Instead of starting from scratch, we adopt & strengthen government schools in rural Karnataka through collaboration. By strengthening them, we ensure the public education system continues to be a champion for social justice and equality.
The core value of Paranjyothi Foundation is to keep the families, educators & communites engaged in shaping the future of students.
